The prophecies in the Old Testament
concerning the person who would come as the Redeemer were fulfilled in the New
Testament.

REVIEW
The theme of the Bible is “buying man
back,” or God’s plan of redemption. Just
as this is the central theme, Christ is the central character, because He is The One who paid the price (death) to
purchase man. In the Old Testament, we
see God preparing to buy man back, by preparing a people through whom Christ
would come.
The Old Testament is revealed in the New Testament, and the New Testament is concealed in the Old Testament.
