REVIEW
The theme of the Bible is “buying man back,” or God’s plan of redemption.  Just as this is the central theme, Christ is the central character, because He is The One who paid the price (death) to purchase man.  In the Old Testament, we see God preparing to buy man back, by preparing a people through whom Christ would come.
The Old Testament is revealed in the New Testament, and the New Testament is concealed in the Old Testament.
Next week we will study the person of Christ who fulfilled all these prophecies.
