Christ is All!

Read John 14:1-6.

These verses answer at least four questions:

    1.  Are you troubled?

    2.  Are you fatherless?

    3.  Are you homeless on earth?

    4.  Have you lost your way?

Christ is the answer to all questions.  Men have formed hundreds of religions, cults and philosophies to try to answer these questions but have failed because they have left out Christ.

"Religion is the devil's instrument to blind men's eyes."  Wherever you will go you will meet men and women belonging to this or that system of religion who know nothing either of the sinfulness of their own hearts in the presence of a holy God, or of God's way of salvation for the lost, through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Christ the way.

ƒ    He is the way to God (v6).  So be reconciled to God (2 Cor. 5:19) through Christ.

ƒ    He is the way to peace (John 14:27).

ƒ    He is the way to heaven (John 10:9). 

Christ the truth.

He is the truth about God ("He that has seen me has seen the Father") because He is God become flesh (John 1:14).  With Christ we need never ask, as Pilate, "What is truth?"

Christ the life.

For the weariest day, may Christ be thy stay,

For the darkest night, may Christ be thy light,

For the weakest hour, may Christ be thy power,

For each moment's call, may Christ be thy all.
