Recently I shared this diagram of Heb. 1:1-4 with our assembly of believers. I thought I would share it with you. The fact that it appeared on a PowerPoint slide means we had to use some abbreviations, one word to remind us of a complete phrase.
I like to diagram important sentences in
Scripture. It helps me clarify the
sentence; it helps to uncover related truths; and it helps in memorization and
meditation. Doing the work on passages
like this is important. Some of the most
important words in the Bible are conjunctions and prepositions and other small
words that might be overlooked.
One suggestion: get a bigger piece of paper
and make your own diagram, with all the words of the sentence.
